A Mediterranean style marinade that will compliment any dish, Tomatoes and bell peppers provide the texture with the White Wine and herbs capturing a true authentic flavour.
Recipe Suggestion:
Mediterannean Style Meat Balls ( Serves 2 ):
Ingredients:
2 tbsp Olive Oil
225g Minced Beef
1 onion, finely diced
1 egg, beaten
200g marinade
Gruyere Cheese
Method:
1. Add the mince, 1 tbsp of marinade , the onion and half the beaten egg to a bowl, mix well
2. Divide the mixture into approximately 8 balls, cover the meatballs and refrigerate for 1 hour
3. Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the meatballs and brown
4. Transfer the meatballs to a casserole dish, cover and place in the oven at 200° for 10 minutes
5. Remove from the oven, remove lid and grate over the cheese, place back in the oven uncovered for a further 5 minutes.
6. Serve with pasta
